ROAD TO RECOVERY PROGRAM

The purpose of this program is to provide free transportation to Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan for cancer patients who need radiation therapy treatments.

The Volunteer Center works with the American Cancer Society to maintain a van that will safely and comfortably transport up to 5 patients a day.

Currently we have 86 volunteer drivers who have completed training. Otsego County started the first-ever Road to Recovery van-based program in Michigan! We have since been a role model to other start up programs. Volunteers make it happen!
