CREATE YOUR VOLUNTEER PROFILE and REPORT HOURS:

Are you curious why you haven’t been contacted with volunteer opportunities?

In 2007 the Volunteer Center went through a lot of changes.  The office no longer has an employee to make these contacts so it is more important than ever for you to update your email address and check your messages.  The Volunteer Center is down to one employee and using email or checking 1-800 for opportunities will help you stay connected.  It also helps if you just shoot a quick reply back to Carol even if you can’t volunteer for that opportunity.

New Applications and 1-800

Have you checked out www.1-800volunteer.org?  If you’re looking to stay informed about what opportunities we have this is the place to go.  If you are a registered volunteer you should already be registered with 1-800. If you need help logging your hours on the 1-800 stop into the Volunteer Center for a quick lesson (it doesn’t take long).

We do have new paper application if you’d like to update yours.  This application will make it easier for Carol to do job matching and is more in line with 1-800.
